What is Salinas Ranch?

Located only twenty minutes West of Brenham in Carmine, Texas. Our ranch is nestled among six hundred plus acres of the most beautiful scenic land in Washington County. It is situated in a picturesque setting with rolling green meadows and an abundance of giant pecan and oak trees reminiscent of the past. Breeding registered American Gray Brahmans is our primary business. Our high-quality herd consists of more than eighty head of cattle including some of the finest Manso and US Sugarland bloodlines available anywhere in Texas. The herd originated with Mr. Gerald "Tiger" Dennis of Winnie, Texas. In the span of twenty-five years, Tiger culled and kept the offspring with the absolute best genetic traits. Tiger's vast knowledge and invaluable experience with Brahman cattle enabled him to comprise a herd with outstanding progeny. We at the Salinas Ranch will continue Tiger's legacy by breeding gentle, fertile, beef-type Brahman cattle.
